Buntara Sangha Kuwait held their 20th Annual General Body meeting on Friday 20th January 2023 at Indian School of Excellence Salmiya.The program commenced with with a prayer by Mrs.Sushmitha Shetty and followed by the traditional lighting of lamp by the Managing Committee and past presidents of BSK. A short prayer of condolence was offered by the audience in memory of late Umesh Shetty & BSK Ex-President Mr. Jayakar Shetty.
The opening speech of the AGM was given by Sports secretary Mr.Prakash Shetty, Treasurer Mr.Raviraj Shetty briefed about the income and expenditure of the Sangha for the year 2019-2022.The Managing Committee felicitated BSK kids with Educational excellence on completion of their X and XII grade, newly married couples were welcomed with a memento. The Managing Committee honored all the sub-committee members for their contribution and support between 2019-2022
The outgoing President Mr. Guruprasad Hegde briefed on the various program undertaken between 2019-2022 including the welfare activities extended during his tenure. He on behalf of his team expressed his sincere gratitude to all the members for the continuous support as well as the warm response towards the contribution to welfare activities under BSK HEMA (Health, Education, Marriage Assistance) scheme.
Mr.Sanath Kumar Shetty, the designated Election officer briefed over the nomination of the Managing Committee for the year 2023.
The following office bearers were declared to have been elected to serve as office bearers for the year 2023.

The new managing committee members introduced themselves and affirmed their commitment to serve the association to the best of their abilities with cooperation and support from all members.
The program was followed by wonderful group and solo Dance performances by Mrs.Swathi Shetty, Mrs.Roshni Shetty, Mrs.Sushma Dinesh Shetty, Ms.Saanvi Shetty, Ms.Stuti Sukesh Shetty, Ms.Mridini Shetty. The special highlight of the event was as a Musical skit “Buntaatike” written and directed by Mrs.Shruthi Rai Pakkala was enjoyed and applauded by the audience.
“Kusal da easal” a comedy drama by Mr.Manoj Kumar Shetty and team kept the audience in laughter.
Vote of thanks was given by Mrs.Prema Shetty. The program was well anchored by Mr. Ashith H Shetty. Delicious lunch was served by Mughal Tandoori Restaurant, Mr. Santosh Shetty. Images were captured by Gorgy and Sunil from the Weekenders photography team.
