In the recently held Gulf Bank 642 Marathon 2018, BSK President Dr. Shekar Shetty proved age is just a number & completed the advanced category 21 km marathon in high spirits and laurels 

Gulf Bank 642 marathon is the first full road race to take place in Kuwait and three of the race categories have been accredited by the Association of International Marathon and Distance Races (AIMS) and the International Associations of Athletics Federation (IAAF Athletics). Following the rigorous assessment three categories (10 KM, 21 KM & 42 KM distances) of the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon has been AIMS certified. These races now appear in the International calendar of races. 

As a social responsibility, Gulf Bank 642 supports a cause each year to raise awareness and donations.
