The Wraith, the newest Rolls-Royce model, arrived in Mumbai late last week on the second stop of its multi-city tour of India. The Wraith has a starting price of Rs 4.6 crore in India. The company, which currently sells Phantom and Ghost models in the country, is also looking to expand its dealerships here.

The tour, which began earlier this week in New Delhi, will allow customers to view the new Wraith for the first time in India. The tour will also include Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, where Rolls-Royce is due to launch its brand new showroom later this month.

Herfried Hasenoehrl, General Manager for Emerging Markets-Asia, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said: “As Wraith progresses on its tour, we meet new customers. Taking inspiration from the original 1938 Wraith, this new model is drawing interest from new customers who have not considered a Rolls-Royce before. Wraith seats four passengers and is the ultimate grand turismo”.

Sharad Kachalia, Director of Sales and Marketing, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Mumbai, said the car's sense of “power, style and drama fits our fashionable, metropolitan city well.”

It is named after the famous cove in the South of France where Sir Henry Royce and his design and engineering teams spent their winters. Finished in diamond black lower and silver sand upper paint, the two-tone presentation complements Wraith’s sweeping fastback design. Coach doors open to reveal a sumptuous interior complete with soft phantom-grade leather in black.
